We setup everything for you so the second control panel should not be much used by you.

Why the link is very long?

When we create a loyalty card link, we customize the link for the customer.

It stores in the card telephone number, shop name, date, time, etc. This is why the link is long.

What is the difference between joined and installed?

Joined: a client clicked on the coupon or loyalty card link.

Installed: a client clicked on the coupon or loyalty card link AND added the coupon and loyalty card inside their Wallet.

You always want the ratio Joined / Installed to be as near as 100%

A person who joined only can collect / redeem points or get reward ?

If a customer did not install properly the card (join only), they can see a temporary card.

The system will record the scan, as well add the points, and the card itself is also updated.

The customer just won’t see the update as he did not install the card.

How can customer personalize the card?

The customer can personalize the card by clicking on the “i” icon on bottom right.

The back of the card will be displayed with terms & conditions, contact and links.

Then he needs to click on the edit details link and update its details.

It is very important that the user enter its telephone number as the POS, smartphone, tablet can add point / redeem the coupon or loyalty card based on this number alone.

Coupon / loyalty card not installed. User must follow the 2 steps for iPhone and Android.

Customer changed smartphone and want to get his loyalty card back

If user change from iPhone to iPhone, there is nothing to do, coupons and loyalty cards are stored in iCloud and they are automatically transferred.

For Android, the user can receive his unique loyalty card link.

You can find the unique loyalty card link by going to the control panel and then find user by telephone number or loyalty card ID then click on the card icon.

User should type “Wallet” or “Passbook” on search screen according to iOS version.

There is 2 different names for Wallet on iPhone:

● Passbook is on every iPhone with iOS6+ and model 3GS or later.
● Wallet is on every iPhone with iOS 7+ and later model.

There is very much probably internet problem.

Why the user experience is not the same across all platforms?

The operating systems (Android, iPhone) are constantly updating.

There is many versions of Android (Kitkat, Ice Cream Sandwich, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Oreo, etc).

There is also many versions of iPhone (iOS 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 etc).

The fact that customer sometime do not see the same behavior is linked to this… old version of Safari, old version of Chrome, etc.

We are doing our maximum to make sure customer experience is always the same but sometime it cannot be due to too much difference in term of update.

One example is the space you see above the coupon / loyalty card barcode… you may want to ask “why so much space?” actually, it is to handle iphone 4S devices which are smaller size compared to iphone 6, 7, 8, X, etc.

User changed the telephone, he just need to update his telephone number by clicking the link at the back of the card.

Staff or customer mistakes… If there is no Install Pass present, that means that the pass was either not installed (e.g. just the print version or the preview was used), or the pass was installed in an app that does not support automatic updates, or the user did disable the automatic updates from the beginning.

Is there a limit in term of numbers for push notifications we can send to our customers?

Excessive usage of push notifications can lead to rate limiting or blocking of your cards!

Think about your client experience: you would not like to receive 5 push notifications per hour. Normally we recommend 1-3 notifications per week maximum.

What is a geo-alert?

geo-alert is a notification displayed on the user lock-screen.

Geo-Alert is triggered when the user is 100m from a geo-location (address) defined by you.

The geo-alerts works OFFLINE (no need to be connected to internet). It is enca[sulated inside the coupon / loyalty card).

You can set up to 10 location based alerts for one coupon / loyalty card template.

What is an iBeacon?

iBeacon is Apple’s version of the Bluetooth-based beacon concept, which allows Bluetooth devices to broadcast or receive tiny and static pieces of data within short distances. In simplistic words, it consists of two parts: a broadcaster (beacon device) and a receiver (smartphone app).

With these devices, you can contact customers from 0 to 33m (it is more accurate than GPS 100m to 1,000m).

Why the loyalty card does not install directly from LINE?

The loyalty card can be installed from LINE.

The user should click the “Open in” icon and then select “Open in Safari”.

The reason is because LINE browser is not (yet) compatible with Apple Wallet as now LINE does not follow Apple framework standards.

You can create users with different levels of credentials:

  • Administrator
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Analytics

A user who is set as “Analytics” can see either “All Area Performances” (default) or only a specific area performance defined by you, just select it when you create users.

Joined = Number of customer who CLICKED on the link (they did not necessarily installed the loyalty card)

Installed = Number of customers who INSTALLED the card on their smartphone

SMS = Number of SMS sent to customers (from POS, staff smartphones, or staff tablets)

QR Code = Number of scan from QR Code at shop location or on desktop (in such case, the loyalty card or coupon is automatically installed)

Unique Buyers = Unique customers who bought at the shop (a buyer who bought several times is counted as 1)

Total Non Buyers = Total Installed – Total Unique Buyers

Customer concerns about security

The security of the system for loyalty card distribution is maximum. The framework we are using is from Apple. It is one of the best company in term of security / user protection.

The apps we are using to host the loyalty cards are called Digital Wallets. By definition, these apps (Apple Wallet, Wallet Passes) are fully secured.

The link we provide is secured with highest security certificate (SSL). The link we distribute contains only a text file (.pkpass) with loyalty card information only. This cannot damage any system.

The link we distribute cannot in any case access to the operating system core systems (it is just impossible by OS code restriction).
